All jokes aside, this is at least a sign of character from this team.

Hell, KSU went to the Cotton Bowl 2 years ago doing this.

Nope. If I wasn't a true fan, I wouldn't be watching this team. We won, it is great. Awesome FG by the kicker. But, be realistic, we got lucky to beat La. Tech at home.

Mundine drops an easy pass. Not surprised.

You act like that drop wasn't scripted by the coaching staff. It's as good as a spike to stop the clock. No need to waste the time out, just pass to Mundine.

I think it's a hell of a strategy to let a team get inside the 5 and make them fumble.

you don't think we were lucky today to escape with a win against a mediocre team with a QB starting his first game on the road. I do.

I don't care what all you haters say... this was huge. We've forgotten how to win. No matter how we did it, we got a W... I am totally pumped!

You're looking at this the wrong way. The D did what it needed to do. The matchup was bad for our run d. The passing game had to win the game, and we made some incremental improvements there.

That has nothing to do with anything. KU from here on out could be the single most unlucky team in the history of the planet, and we would still go 2-10. They could not field a team from here on out, and they would still achieve a 2-10 record.

Pilothawk isn't the only one whose brain effectively shuts off when KU isn't playing well, but this is definitely the most conspicuous example. I'm guessing this team wins 3 to 4 games, which is zero to 1 wins worse than the expectation going into the season. Did people think we were going bowling this year?

Yeah, I really don't care at this point.

We had no business losing to Texas last year with the way we played so I don't think we should scoff at fortune.

So happy we won. I hope this gives the players some confidence going into conference play.

As I said earlier, this W is huge. We were in the gill ditch without much hope or even wherewithall to get out. A W is a W. I know the players must be still chanting rock chalk after that win. As well they should!

Just for the record I predicted KU to win 17 to 14. Thanks for thinking of me when KU wins a close game. I appreciate the attention. It warms my heart.

I know some dig on Weiss's weight. But seriously, he does not look or sound healthy.

Let's hope that is the case. Let's hope they can get some things worked out to be able to beat the Sand Aggies. It will take a lot more complete effort to beat them than what we witnessed today.

Watching his play calling causes me to question the soundness of his mental health. What the heck was that flare pass out to Pierson in the closing minute?

What was that about?

He had to run it one more time. He thought there was no chance they were going to stop it 10 times in one game.

omg.gifYou said we will be lucky to go 2-10, something we already are. Think about it.

your heart as a fan is horrible.

I am watching it. That makes me a good fan. The fact that I pay to watch 5 games a year, makes me a great fan.

Not really.
