What an appropriate ending to a less than exciting win. Give up a useless TD in the final minute.

Well an ugly win is better than an ugly loss. Not by much, but it is better.

Only UConn's 12th TD of the entire season. Nice work, fellas.

We can't ever seem to beat the spread any more -- not I care and sometimes think it is too large to start with, but dang I wish we had a coach who cared a little about offense and not just stay a little ahead of the opponent.

Fitting ending to this painful game. Mark down the W and hopefully we start trending in a positive direction next week.

So glad I stopped watching this team after the UCF game. So much potential under utilized and unimpressive throughout the season. Slow, methodical offense that takes away from any advantages in talent we have. Next year will be real interesting. Either we are competitive and win 9 games or my fear is we are exposed for the phony schedule we have played the last few years. Don't need to take off the rose colored glasses to see that there are issues that continue to be seen game after game, season after season that will become much more prominent with a another tier of opponent in the ACC.

2 weeks break and we have all these problems. Its amazing thinking back how we were considered a possible NC caliber team.

Lol the best is these announcers clearing eluding to the spread multiple times and laughing about those "late Friday TD's" causing a lot of upset people.

They won't be. Read my previous post. Listen to Charlie's post game interview. He'll be happy as a clam about this game and how we played.

I'd like to think we will play better in better weather, against a better opponent. But looking over the last couple of years, except for Florida, we very seldom have played up to the supposed potential, resulting in a lot of frustrating games to watch. Maybe this is all we can be? disbelief

Not sure what to make of this game. It is a W but we certainly do nothing impressive. And we were not playing Alabama either.

What "truth" can't I handle? I'd love to see a detailed break down of what "truth" there is that I can't digest. Amuse me, please.

CS may never apologize for a win, but he should apologize for his team's performance tonight. UCONN may be one of the worst D-1 teams we've ever played, and even though the game was never in doubt, we looked undisciplined, uninspired and unprepared. I agree with the poster who said Ohio may have been the best game we've played this year. Kentucky may have beaten us tonight.

I hope I don't suffer a mental breakdown next year. I am really concerned of what is to come with Charlie's approach to our offense.

That is just focking great.

Even with the interim coach on the opposite side of the field who is making peanuts and I cannot honestly say our coach looks any better tonight. And the team seems to reflect his nonchalant attitude. Its going to be a rude awakening next year.

defensive wise was a fun game but offense puts the fans in the set so from that point of view it was a boring game but at least we won.

The defense played very well, the receivers had a ton of dropped balls and I'm starting to get irritated with running the ball on first down everytime. A play action, bootleg or screen play would be nice on first down. Seems like we are holding back to much.
