Team hasn't looked good since before the Atlantis tournament...definitely deserved to lose today.

You sound like an inexperienced, haphazard bettor.

Nope, I'm quite experienced. Road teams that are within 1 point of the line are usual locks. I keep waiting for the talent on this KU team to kick in. Its not happening. Looks like Kentucky of last year. Not getting enough out of the sum of the parts.

Even a token defense could stop a three with 3 seconds on the clock.

I might just save this one.

Save it for next year. We won't do **** this year

For all the complaining we did during the game, we ended up out rebounding CU. Seems strange. We also lost while shooting 53% to CU's 41%.

I call BS on this statement. the way fouls had been called on us the last thing you would want was a in your face defense and put them on the line to win it!

He was. We would have been whistled for that. CU got a favorable whistle at home.

Watched it on the DVR a few times and he took only 2 steps after the last dribble. Defense could have been better, but he made a tough shot.

If KU can play better defense and rebound better, KU will be fine.

Bill was out coached and obviously struggles in these situation loosing his assistants has hurt him he replaced them with recruiters and not coaches. 2008 was a while ago bill...

it's all good, nothing you can do about a lucky shot. and i say lucky not to take away from the kid who made it but because he's shooting 24% on the season.

i'm glad our guys fought back and wiggins has found his mojo. we will be ok.

Not a good question to ask ... It can always get worse.

That's the exact same number of steps as Wiggins spin move or 90% of the layups you see

You get two steps going to the basket, but not on a jump shot

---------------------------------------------

Yes. You do.

CU took a bajillion free throws. Piss poor officiating.

Just because the guy made the dagger 3 to win the game against us, doesn't mean he automatically walk.
Deal with it, it was not a travel, and it was a great shot.
Learn the rule.

No way this is the weakest team of both eras, but it's as weak as any team except maybe the 08-09 team at this point in the season since the 05-06 season. But this is probably the most talented team during that time too, so the ceiling is still very high.

Here is what is frustrating about the officiating, and I'm not blaming them for the loss (we killed ourself with the bad zone offense in the 1st half):

-On Wiggins court-length drive where he laid it in, and then slipped and fell to the ground. Didn't that appear to be a foul? It sure hampered us where Dinwiddie got down the court and picked up a cheapie.
-On Perry's last drive, was that a foul?

The bigger point is: I don't know what the heck a foul is anymore under these new rules, so I cannot even opine if those are good or bad calls.

This. Not the end of the world. It's only Dec. 7. It'll be interesting to see how they respond on Tuesday at Florida.

I think the light may have come on in second half for Wiggins. He must now know that he can't be stopped when he gets a head of steam.

I agree, both of these were fouls but they didn't call because it went in. They did not call contact consistently at all.

We didn't deserve to win that game.

We've got to get better defensively. We've got to rebound the ball.

pass off our player on out of bound play no time runs off. then they catch take 2 dribles 2 steps in under 3 seconds, hard to believe you can take 2 dribbles and 2 steps in 3 seconds!

We got hit a ton of times going to the basket with few whistles. Also CU had free reign to go over the back for rebounds.
